GENERAL GUIDELINES
Each student can submit pieces that have not been previously submitted to other publications or posted online. Please also keep in mind that writing submissions that are published in the fall semester will NOT be disqualified from the Grinnell College English Department’s creative writing contests.
The Grinnell Review only accepts submissions from current Grinnell College students (this includes students studying abroad).
All submissions remain anonymous during REVIEW
WRITING GUIDELINES
- Fill out the Qualtrics form with your name, biography information, and upload your file(s).
- Please make sure that the filename is the title of your submission, and that you include your first and last name in the [name field] and your Grinnell email address in the [email field].
- Please submit in .docx format.
- If including other sources, citations should follow MLA guidelines.
ART GUIDELINES
- Fill out the Qualtrics form with your name, biography information, and upload your file(s).
- Make the filename the title of your submission.
- Include your first and last name in the [name field] and your Grinnell email address in the [email field].
- Please use JPEG, PNG, or TIFF.
- The submitted image must have a dimension larger than 500 pixels at 300 dpi.
- Images must be smaller than 5 MB.
- Artwork should not have your name on it as to keep the selection process anonymous.
